AUS-sponsored Sharjah basketball team wins President’s Cup

The Office of Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs, Media and Printing Department, is glad to announce that the Sharjah basketball team, which has been sponsored by American University of Sharjah for the fifth consecutive year, has recently clinched the prestigious UAE President’s Cup.

The first video is for a live special program aired on the occasion by Sharjah TV on June 11, 2009. The video features Mr. Salem Al Qaseer, Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs, addressing the audience at large on the relationship between the basketball team and AUS and introducing the public to AUS sports activities and sports scholarships.
