Sultan opens Sharjah Award for Arab Photo and Exhibition

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of American University of Sharjah, attended the AUS Main Building today the opening ceremony of the Sharjah Award for Arab Photo and exhibition. He distributed awards at the winners of the competition and toured the photo exhibition.

In a statement on the occasion, AUS Chancellor Dr. Peter Heath welcomed hosting such cultural events. "AUS has become a hub for cultural activities which come as part of the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharajh of AUS as providers of high quality higher education as well as a cultural beacon in the region.
