| Ramadan Charity Iftar |
| |
A charity iftar is organized on campus every Ramadan for groups such as the elderly, handicapped and orphans, who are welcomed to campus for the event. Through this program students are linked as one family with these groups, and they are given the chance to do humanitarian work during the Holy month of Ramadan. |

| AUS Charity Mini Marathon |
| |
|
Each year the Office of Student Affairs organizes a charity mini marathon to benefit a local charity organization. The event is open to the public, with high participation by students from private and public schools, colleges and universities in Sharjah and Dubai, as well as people with special needs. All funds generated from this event are donated to help a charity organization. |

Green Program |

The Green Program aims to raise environmental awareness among students and the AUS community. The group coordinates a recycling program, which includes a recycling collection center for aluminum, plastic, paper and glass, as well as the collection of paper from Green Program recycling boxes in classrooms and offices around campus. |

| Blood Donation |
| |

On-campus blood donation campaigns are organized each semester by Community Services in collaboration with the University Health Center and the Sharjah Ministry of Health. This campaign saves the lives of many people who need blood as well as benefiting the donors. |

| Charity Fundraisers |

|
Community Services organizes different events on campus to benefit charity organizations such as Bake Sale and Charity Week. |

| Off-campus Programs |
| |
 |
As members of Community Services, students are invited to participate in off-campus events for their personal and professional development. These events include, for example, conferences, working at the Dubai Shopping Festival and GITEX, public speaking competitions, and other seminars. |
