The Office of Research in collaboration with the Faculty Development Center (FDC) is pleased to host a workshop on research proposal writing. The workshop will be conducted by two consultants from the American University in Washington, D.C.:  Dr. David Culver, Associate Dean of Sciences, and Ms. Catherine Kirby, Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs.   Click here for details of their bios.

The workshop is intended for all faculty members who wish to enhance their proposal writing abilities, but it will include a focus on AUS Faculty Research Grant Applications (FRG08).  Dr. Culver and Ms. Kirby also will be available for individual conferences. The workshop will take place on Thursday January 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the FDC Multipurpose Room (LIB 011). Workshop materials is available on FRG08 ilearn site as per the following path: My Organization → FRG08 Proposals → Proposal Writing Workshop → Workshop Materials. The individual conferences will take place on Friday, January 25, 2008.
