Wesam Al-Assadi

Instructor in the Department of Arabic Studies

Wesam Al-Assadi’s field of expertise is translation and interpreting. She teaches translation courses and courses in Arabic and Islamic heritage as well. She started her career as an adjunct instructor at the AUS for two years before she joined as a full-time faculty in the same academic institution. Mrs. Al-Assadi’s research interest lies in examining different aspects of Arabic and Islamic heritage from a translation perspective. In addition, she published some papers on Machine Translation and Arabic language. In Kuwait University, Mrs. Al-Assadi worked as an assistant researcher in the Department of Scientific research. A number of research papers were published in coordination with other academic institution in Kuwait and abroad.
