Prof. Kim Bigelow
Kim Bigelow holds an MFA degree from the Department of Radio, Television and Film at Northwestern University. Northwestern is generally considered one of the top ten universities in America. Kim Bigelow is presently Assistant Professor of Mass Communication at American University of Sharjah. Kim Bigelow was formerly President of KB Productions, a Chicago based media training company for major corporations and advertising agencies. KB Productions clients included advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett, as well as corporate clients such as FMC, G.D. Searle, Household Finance (HFC), Smith Kline, Standard Oil and Monsanto. Kim Bigelow produced several MTV videos for concerts held at the Park West as well as Red Label Records. Kim Bigelow has a proven expertise in developing corporate training programs and university curricula. He is responsible for developing and writing the Mass Communication Film Curriculum at AUS as well as the Communication Arts curricula at Stamford International University. He recently designed and supervised construction of a one million dollar (U.S.) state of the arts digital multi-camera wide screen studio at American University. Kim Bigelow has written, produced and directed over 200 professional films working with international celebrities as Luciano Pavaroti and Willie Nelson. Kim Bigelow also produced the award winning MTV video “The Superbowl Shuffle”.
