Labs and Facilities

The laboratory plays an essential role in learning physics. It provides a unique opportunity for students to learn the proper use of equipment, to perform data collection and analysis, and to make appropriate presentations of scientific results by means of written lab reports. The Department of Physics has well-equipped laboratories for PHY 101, PHY 102, PHY 105 and PHY 201 where students perform various experiments to study, explore and verify physical concepts and laws. Each lab consists of nine workstations equipped with computers.
