Call for Participation
The scope of the AUS-ISM05 encompasses all theoretical and practical aspects of Mechatronics. In addition, it covers the synergetic integration of mechanical engineering with electronics, intelligent control, and design and manufacturing of industrial products and processes. Topics of interest include:
- Embedded process control systems
- Manufacturing technologies
- MEMS and Nano-technologies
- Mechatronics education
- Mechatronics, smart sensors and sensor fusion intelligence
- Biomechatronics
- Robotics and automation
- Modeling and simulation of Mechatronics systems
- Autotronics systems
- Other areas related to Mechatronics and automation
Prospective participants of AUS-ISM05 are invited to submit an extended summary or a full paper (IEEE two-column format) by email to aus-ism05@aus.edu. Submitted full papers will be peer-reviewed, while accepted extended summaries will be published as short papers. Please note that accepted papers will not appear in the proceedings if registration is not completed by March 15, 2005.
The organizing committee intends to arrange workshops/tutorials to be held in conjunction with the AUS-ISM05. Proposals are solicited for appropriate subjects. Please send your proposal to the symposium chair at aus-ism05@aus.edu.

Registration
All participants are required to register for the symposium. The registration fees include a CD-ROM copy of the symposium proceedings, attendance of all sessions, refreshments, a welcome reception, daily lunch and a banquet.
