The primary goal of the Unit Operations Laboratories is to acquaint the students with some of the equipment used in chemical industries and to give them the opportunity to operate them safely. Lab 1 covers hands-on-experiments illustrating the application of chemical engineering mass transfer operations such as distillation, absorption, stripping, extraction and evaporation.
