Dr. Moncer Hariga

Moncer Hariga earned a PhD in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA. His research interests are design and analysis of inventory systems, supply chain management, and applications of operations research in manufacturing and service organizations. His research papers have been cited in books, PhD theses, and scientific journals. He is member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management and the International Journal of Computer and Operations Research. He has served as a consultant for several companies in the region.
Dr. Hazim El-Baz
Associate Professor ESM
Hazim El-Baz earned a PhD in Engineering Management from University of Missouri-Rolla. He has more than 28 years of industrial experience in the United States. His experience in manufacturing companies covers a spectrum of positions from product design engineer, operations manager, general manager, and vice president. His research interests are technical analysis of financial markets, systems for measuring organizations’ performance, business process reengineering, and employee competencies evaluation and development.
Dr. Fouad Ben Abdelaziz
Professor ESM
Fouad Ben Abdelaziz earned a PhD in Operations and Decision Systems from Laval University, Canada. He is a leading researcher in multi-objective stochastic optimization. His actual research interests are in constrained project scheduling with fuzzy parameters and in modeling the coalition formation problem in supply chain management. Dr. Ben Abdelaziz has consulted for the Tunisian chemical industry for many years and was appointed as an assessor for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award for the year 2006.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Kattan
Professor ESM
Ibrahim Al Kattan earned a PhD in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, Tennessee, USA. He has taught in mechanical and engineering systems management departments for more than 25 years at institutions such as Tennessee Technological University, the University of Massachusetts and Dartmouth. His areas of research and teaching interest are operation research, simulation and modeling, quality and supply chain management. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a consultant for the National Center for Consultancy and Management Development, Board of Planning, Baghdad, Iraq.
