SBM student wins place at international seminar

Fadi Al Masri, a student at the School of Business and Management, attended the prestigious European Financial Seminar, at the headquarters ofProctor & Gamble (P&G) in Geneva, Switzerland recently.

Al Masri was one of only 36 applicants accepted to attend the seminar out of 3,400 candidates from around the world. The one-week seminar involved outstanding students from all over Europe, the USA and Africa studying various aspects of a multinational business.

It helped them develop their management and financial skills by working on real-life case studies, drawing up a three-year financial plan and interacting with senior P&G executives. Al Masri described the seminar as “the experience of a lifetime.”
