John Mosbo joins AUS as Vice

Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. John Mosbo has recently joined the American University of Sharjah (AUS) as the new Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Dr. Mosbo came to AUS from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, United States, where he served as Dean of Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Mosbo has a distinguished career, having served at various positions in academia for over three decades. Prior to Gustavus Adolphus College, he had held senior administrative and faculty positions at University of Central Arkansas, James Madison University and Ball State University. Dr. Mosbo holds a Ph.D in inorganic chemistry from the University of Iowa and is the author of numerous articles published in refereed journals.
