The American University of Sharjah (AUS) Choral Ensemble, Nassim Al Saba and the SAMA Barbershop Quartet held an evening of choral music at AUS under the old School of Business and Management rotunda on December 20, 2011. Students, their parents and other members of the AUS community were in attendance.

The music ranged from Italian Baroque to African American spirituals and Arabic to Barbershop. Nassim Al Saba is an AUS student choral group and is one of six ensembles in the world dedicated to Arabic choral music.

Playing at the event were also Lorraine Stanley, pianist; Lillian Rihani, assistant pianist; and Dr. John Perkins, conductor. Perkins is also an assistant professor in the Performing Arts Program.

The event was organized by the College of Arts and Sciences' Performing Arts Program.
