Mission Statement:

Student Activities Office objective is to provide students with a rich and varied campus life that fosters personal growth, maturity and a sense of responsibility.

 Student Activities Office (SAO):

AUS students play vital role in governing and shaping campus life.  Student Activities Office (SAO), located on the first floor of the Student Center building, oversees extracurricular activities at AUS and is dedicated to providing all AUS students with an appealing environment where academics are complemented with social and cultural experiences, fun, leadership building and multicultural display.

The primary role of (SAO) is to promote those experience, dialogue and cultural diversity; sharpen student curiosity and partake in the student educational and personal growth by creating a very engaging lifestyle inside and outside AUS.

(SAO) is also committed to promoting a spirit of responsibility, self-reliance and a sense of community and conducts many social, culturally and intellectually rich events and getting-togethers which provide the students with an unrivalled experiences and high-octane moments throughout the time of their stay at the AUS.

These are some of the events organized and overseen by Student Activities Office: The Global Day Festivities, the Charity Festival, The Environment Day, Music Festival Concert, Inter-university Quiz Championship, Inter-collegiate debate, workshops, exhibitions, Student of the Year, UAE National Day celebration, off-campus trips and many recreational events
