Judicial Affairs

Judicial Affairs is committed to promote an open and understanding environment that is conducive to learning and the pursuit of knowledge. Judicial Affairs is a non academic student support service offered through AUS’ Office of Student Affairs. Judicial Affairs is responsible for implementing the Code of Conduct that outlines the policies governing student behavior at AUS. This office investigates reported Code of Conduct violations, arranges for cases to be adjudicated and maintains student discipline confidential records.  

Judicial Affairs also offers Mediation Services. This service aims to assist students to resolve disputes amicably by mediation and peer coordination. This is a confidential service where the Mediation Coordinator facilitates the resolution of conflicts.  Students are trained to serve as peer mediators through Mediation Services Office.

Judicial Affairs is dedicated to serve students, acquaint them with their rights and responsibilities and guide them in internalizing the highest ethical standards that will ensure their own safety and that of other members of the community and develop them to be responsible citizens.

Mission

To educate students on their rights and responsibilities and sensitize the AUS Community about the Code of Conduct and implement it in a fair and consistent manner.
