1) How do I apply for accommodation in AUS Residential Halls?
For New Students:
If you are a new student and have received the document package from the admissions office. Fill in the Housing Application form and send it to the admissions department along with the following pre-requisites:
- AED 500 room pre-registration charge which is not refundable but will be deducted from your Dorm fee when you join the University.
- AED 1000 room maintenance deposit which is refundable at time you finally checkout of the Dorms.
- The AUS seat reservation fee (currently AED 5,000).
- Acceptance in an AUS Academic course.
- Accommodation agreement is valid for fulltime registered students only.
In case you did not receive a form, please download it from the web site link (available on the Residential Halls web page) and complete the above mentioned requirements.
For AUS students staying outside campus:
If you are already a student at AUS and want to stay in the Residential Halls, obtain a housing application form from the Residential Halls Office or download from the website http://www.aus.edu/osa/residential_halls/forms/index.php , fill it, and get it stamped from the student accounts to ensure that AED 500 room pre-registration fee has been paid. Next submit the application to the Residential Halls Office in the Student Centre building 1st floor.
For Resident Students:
For students in the dorm wanting to renew their agreement for the upcoming semester/session, you will have to login to Banner Self Service and apply for a renewal of agreement for the specified semester and during the period of application submission announced by Residential Halls Department.
Important Note:
Accommodation agreement is valid for fulltime registered students only.
