CAS  >  Departments  >  English  >  About  >  Department Activities and Events  >  A Great Kick off of the DoE New Seminar Series

As part of its new series of invited speakers, the Department of English had the pleasure of welcoming well-renowned linguists from South Korea on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Professors Myung-Kwan Park, Daeho Chung, Sun Woong Kim and Gui-Sun Moon shared with the audience their latest linguistic research relevant to syntactic parsing and second language acquisition. The talks and the research results were highly informative and engaging, and the atmosphere was quite congenial.
