Ms. Shaymaa Abouelasaad

Shaymaa Abouelasaad is currently a visiting instructor in the Department of English at the American University of Sharjah. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) from AUS. She has taught English in both online and higher education contexts and has supported a variety of research projects in second language acquisition and linguistics. Her research interests include second language vocabulary development, translanguaging practices in English-medium instruction, and the integration of technology into language learning and teaching.
