Dr. Maya Aghasi

Assistant Professor

Maya Aghasi's research interests include conflict studies, literary theory, cross-cultural encounters, and gender and women's studies, and she works in English, Arabic and French. She has a variety of teaching experience in both the US and Lebanon, teaching courses from introductory composition to master's level seminars. She just finished a project on film and social activism in Lebanon, and is working on a book tentatively titled, Trashscapes of the Modern Middle East.
