ASME - American Society of Mechanical Engineers

CEN  >  About  >  Undergraduate Affairs  >  Student Organizations  >  ASME - American Society of Mechanical Engineers

The ASME student chapter is the place where both AUS mechanical and non-mechanical engineering students learn more about the mechanical engineering branch and the mechanical engineering major offered at AUS. ASME's educational activities include seminars conducted by engineering professionals, industrial visits to big engineering companies in the region and engineering competitions held on and off campus. Our main goal is to help our members connect what they learn in university to what they will practice in the industry, teach them what it takes to be a professional engineer, and show them what knowledge and skills the market demands to help them make the right decision when choosing their major, minor and elective courses at AUS. We try to achieve all of that while maintaining a fun learning environment for everyone who decides to become a part of the ASME family.
