ORCiD Workshop (March 2019)
With the increased interest in measuring researcher impact from academic administrations and funding bodies, having a good grasp of the mechanics of how different research profiles work is becoming essential to represent yourself to the wider academic and research community. This workshop will cover what an ORCiD is and what can you do with it. We’ll talk about how to create an ORCiD ID and link it to AUS single-signon as well as a Scopus author profile or a Web of Science Researcher ID. Other topics include methods of importing citations from Google Scholar and Scopus; editing your profile for affiliation, education and email address; controlling access to your profile; and managing account settings. Finally we’ll cover where to find more resources for help with your ORCiD and try to answer any questions you might have about ORCiD.
No registration required.
Speaker: Thomas Hodge Associate University Librarian for Technology and Technical Services,
