International Students

One of the features that makes AUS admired throughout the region is its multicultural environment. Our student body comprises approximately 90 nationalities from around the world, making our campus a beautiful blend of different cultures, ethnicities and religions.

If you are not a UAE national or a GCC citizen, you must apply for a student visa before arriving at AUS. Visa applications to the UAE go through a long process of background checks by concerned authorities as the security of the region has been given top priority. Click here to fill out the necessary student visa application forms and learn about the requirements.

After we receive your application, we will apply for your online student residence visa through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah. After the visa is issued to us, we will send a copy of the visa to the email address you provided on the request form in addition to your AUS student email. Please note that this is just a temporary visa valid for only two months from the date of issue. Please visit office MM19C in the Main Building to obtain your permanent visa. Please note that if you decide to defer or withdraw your application, you should contact us as soon as possible at [email protected].

For more information, you can also book an online meeting with an admissions advisor.
