SBA and Naseba Global Women in Leadership Economic Forum (October 2017)
Endorsed by the UAE Ministry of Economy, Naseba Global Women in Leadership (WIL) Economic Forum (October 25th until the 26th) brings together over 500 global business leaders, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, artists and youth to champion diversity as the cornerstone of sustainable economic development.
This year, the Forum is under the theme “The Butterfly Effect – From Intent to Impact”, placing a focus on enacting social change through social entrepreneurship, impact investment, philanthropy, diversity and inclusion, education and the arts.
Designed to drive action, the program leverages the experience of business and community leaders to give attendees a roadmap to further their personal development,
As ‘Knowledge Partner’ of the Forum, AUS will play a key role. Over 50 students from the university will take part, attending sessions as VIP guests and participating in roundtable discussions to debate issues of female equality and progression. Dr. Linzi Kemp, SBA Associate Professor and leading contributor on issues of women in leadership, will also participate in a key panel at the event.
SBA is a keen supporter of promoting women in leadership across the region, founding a website dedicated to the cause, to find out more, visit: https://wil.insightsme.net.
