This laboratory serves both as a professionally equipped laboratory for testing the properties of materials and as an integrated part of the AUS engineering education program. It is capable of serving both industry and academia in the Gulf. Experiments conducted here include hardness tests, tensile stress, compression stress, creep, fatigue, torsion of shaft, torsion of rod, impact and corrosion.
