Research areas

Dr. Hamdan's research interests are in experimental solid state physics and material science: nano-materials, perovskite solar cells, magnetic materials and semiconductors, high temperature superconductivity and x-ray spectroscopy. Dr. Hamdan is also performing research in the field of air pollution, particularly on aerosol pollution and source apportionment, in addition to studying material of cultural heritage using advanced spectroscopic techniques.
