Biography

Sameh Monir El-Sayegh is an assistant professor of civil engineering at the American University of Sharjah. He has been with AUS since 2002. Before that, he was a project controls manager with the Morganti Group Inc. in Houston, Texas (2001-2002), project controls engineer with Consolidated Contractors International Company in Yemen (1999- 2001), and automation engineer with CCIC in Athens, Greece (1998-1999). Dr. El-Sayegh has a PhD in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering & Project Management) from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (1998); an MS in Construction Management from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (1996); and a BSc in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo (1993). Dr. El-Sayegh is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
