Medical Emergencies

As per the updated Emergency Evacuation Plan Medical Emergency procedures have already been established within the AUS medical Department.

Signs of Medical Emergency

  • Fainting
  • Difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness or change in vision.
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood.
  • Suicide or homicidal feelings
  • Sever or persistent vomiting.
  • Chest or upper abdominal pain or pressure.
  • Change in mental status (unusual behavior ,confusion , difficulty arousing)
  • Sudden, sever pain anywhere in the body.

What to Do

  • Keep emergency phone numbers posted by the phone (List  attached)
  • Go to the nearest hospital.

Call Ambulance

To call the ambulance directly in case of having serious life threading condition otherwise calls the medical emergencies hot line.
