Macadi Nahhas in Concert (February 2016)

A leading voice among young Jordanian artists, Macadi Nahhas has a sparkling talent, distinguished voice and an astonishing presence. With her own special style, she revived music and songs from the Middle Eastern heritage and folklore that were long forgotten.

Born in Amman 1977, Nahhas obtained a diploma in music from the Music Conservatory of Beirut. Her music career began after her first live performance at the Jerash Festival in 1997. Since then, Nahhas has been active in the music scene and performed at various cultural festival and events in Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Denmark, Canada, USA, Dubai, Bahrain, Belgium, Holland and more.

Tickets may be purchased at the Cashier's Office (AUS Main Building) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, or at the door before the concert.
