UAE Capacity Building Program (November 2016)

The capacity building program is part of the Next Gen Space initiative of the Global Space Congress. It is a collaboration between the UAE Space Agency and distinguished Japanese government agencies and organizations. The program is geared towards promoting and spreading space education among young people in the UAE. It features a lecture discussing targets, objectives, and learning methods for space education, as well as sessions on the CanSat program and hybrid rockets. The culmination of the program is the Ideathon where teams of 4 students from various UAE universities will brainstorm ideas on how to utilize space technology in order to solve social issues and benefit society in the UAE.
