Since then he has worked for the engineering consultancy Hyder Consulting Middle East as an Environmental Consultant and subsequently branched off to start up the environmental consultancy, AMT Environmental. In the two years and a half years since AMT Environmental began, Roland has worked on a wide range of major U.A.E. developments and industry projects with regards to environmental permitting. Examples of the types of environmental projects carried out include Environmental Impact Assessments, Preliminary Environmental Reviews, Construction and Operational Environmental Management Plans, Waste Management Plans, field surveys for terrestrial ecology, marine ecology, noise assessments, air quality assessments and water/sediment chemical analyses.
