The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the College of Arts and Sciences invites you to a seminar to be conducted by Dr. Amjad Tuffaha, Associate Professor of Mathematics at AUS.
Abstract: We consider some mathematical problems involving the Navier-Stokes and the Euler Equations on an evolving domain and related systems of fluid-structure interactions involving the Euler or the Navier-Stokes equations interacting on a free interface with elasticity or plate equations.
We examine historical and recent developments in studying the well-posedness of these systems.
