UNStudio-Looking for Trouble (October 2012)
A Lecture by: Caroline BOSCo-Founder/Principal Urban Planner of Amsterdam-based International Practice UNStudio
The constant at the basis of UNStudio's varied body of work is a preoccupation with 'the question behind the question'. A critical disposition has led to the formation of the knowledge-driven network approach that characterizes the current practice. Throughout more than 20 years of international project experience, UNStudio has continually expanded its capabilities through prolonged collaboration with an extended network of international consultants, partners, and advisors across the globe. Essential to a knowledge-driven network practice is the gathering and application of adequate and functioning knowledge which is not only relevant to the time, but which also provides answers and solutions to the specific 'question behind the question' in each project.
