Workshop on Work-Life Balance (March 2013)
Life in the 21st century is fast-paced and requires individuals to adapt to ever-changing situations, whether in the work place, in the home or in the classroom. The environment, weather, politics, and financial crises all impact how we address "life" on a daily basis. It is hardly surprising that finding a balance between time in the workplace (whether as an employee or as a student) and time outside the workplace is becoming more and more challenging in developing countries. This seminar is intended to encourage individuals to find their own best practice for balancing the demands of an academic work environment with lifestyle choices.
This event is facilitated by Pamela Dalby, Boston University, and is sponsored by the Office of International Exchange Programs (IXO).
