Lebanese Classics Concert (November 2013)
The Cultural Events Committee in collaboration with the AUS Lebanese Cultural Club (as part of their national day celebration activities) present Mohammad Hamami and the Sharq Orchestra in a performance of songs for Al Rahbani brothers, Wadih Al Safi, Melhem Barakat, Elias Rehbani, and songs of the 1980s.
Mohammad started his career in his mid teens, touring with various star singers such as Majda Al Roumi. He has delighted audiences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the past five years, playing in public and special events.
Mohammad established Sharq Orchestra in April 2008. The orchestra includes 60 musicians of 22 different nationalities. He runs it, and plays solo violin. The orchestra repertoire varies from traditional Arabic music to classical pieces to new compositions written specifically for Mohammad's solos.
