Abstract
A number of problems inRandom Matrix Theory will be discussed:
1. singular deformation of Jacobi ensembles where an infinitelyfast zero is introduced at the origin
2. the computation of the mean and variance of "quitegeneral" linear statistics
3. the orthogonal and symplectic ensembles with Normal and Gammabackground
