Be. Longing. is a new comedic play written for the First AUS International Theatre Festival. It is a series of short contemplative vignettes that examine the broad definition of cultural identity. Actors play numerous roles that defy classification of race, gender and ethnicity and seek to examine the heart of the matter- what makes each person an individual and part of a larger group in which they identify. What makes us belong? What separates us? Be. Longing. makes us answer those and many other questions.
