We at the School of Business Administration (SBA) take pride in preparing our students to become valuable assets to their communities. Our core values are instilled in our students, who continuously strive for excellence in everything they do and hold themselves to a high level of integrity and ethical responsibility.
Top-performing students at SBA, specifically the top 10 percent of undergraduate students and top 20 percent of graduate students, are given the opportunity to join the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) society. This international honor society serves students in business programs that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).
Beta Gamma Sigma has chapters in various universities around the world, and it is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive. Every semester, BGS gives the opportunity for new students to join the society as long as they meet the eligibility criteria. Elected BGS student officers together with their chapter advisor work to create an environment that helps the members of BGS gain the tools and means necessary to develop into exceptional leaders.
BGS has many initiatives, which include creating a network that allows members to connect to other future business leaders around the world including local alumni, hosting workshops that will help members build professional and leadership skills, GMAT/GRE fee waivers and discounted pricing on licensing and test prep programs, and giving members access to BGS-exclusive scholarships and internships in their business field. BGS members also have access to an international calendar that joins business student’s leaders from all over the world in year-round events.
Overall, BGS is keen on helping business students grow, network and learn to become the best business leaders they can be.
