The Administrative Officer SOP will be responsible for documenting a comprehensive standard operating procedure for the Office of Enrollment Management. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to document current processes and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process and policy documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Explore existing processes, policies, and procedures within the Enrollment Services units.
- Document a comprehensive SOP manual that aligns with institutional goals and regulatory compliance.
- Consult with enrollment staff and administrative units to gather input and demonstrate the correlation across functions.
- Create process flowcharts, presentations, checklists, guides, manuals, contracts, and guidelines to support SOP implementation.
- Document quality control measures and performance metrics for enrollment operations.
- Document and archive the updates, allowing the concerned enrollment staff to efficiently review and update the deliverables as needed to reflect changes in policy, technology, or regulations.
- Highlight in the SOP the values of efficiency, transparency, quality control, and applicant experience.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business Administration, Educational Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of accreditation and compliance standards in higher education is an advantage.
- Proven experience in process development and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Technical writing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The following Certifications & Professional Training are an advantage:
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Yellow Belt)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Records and Information Management Certification (CRM)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with flowchart or process-mapping software (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
- UAE experience is an advantage.
