Lecture by Mr. Larry Sullivan Chairman, COINS Foundation (November 2012)
The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs' Career Services division welcomes you to a lecture by Mr. Larry Sullivan, Chairman of the COINS Foundation.
Mr. Sullivan aims to influence students to think about establishing social enterprises and influence current and future business leaders to commit to putting equity into foundations and charities. With any form of privilege--intellectual, physical or financial--comes the responsibility to do something to create value.
Speaking to students and young people at various business schools and organizations in the UAE, Mr. Sullivan will outline his own entrepreneurial journey, from selling ice cream as a student in Chicago to founding six niches of software houses, and how the COINS Foundation was established in 2006 to work towards an inclusive global society in which everyone enjoys the benefits of a decent place to live, enough to eat, and employment and prosperity.
