How E-Textiles Define Art, Fashion And Design (March 2017)

Paola Guimerans is an artist, interaction designer and educator. Her artistic exploration investigates materials, techniques and processes for blending soft electronics and computation as a medium for creating expressive and personally meaningful technological arts. 

This lecture will feature leading researchers in e-textiles and offer insight into the history of wearables and how the body is represented and experienced in fashion design, art and performance.
