Finding and Using Open Educational Resources (OER) in Your Class (April 2018)
Library, Room IC1
April 11, 2018
15:00 - 16:00
Free
The high cost of educational materials like textbooks and course packs is a hot topic across campuses. The Open Educational Resource (OER) movement is attempting to lower costs by creating and sharing educational resources that are free to use and free to modify and share. This workshop will explain OER philosophy and illustrate how faculty and staff can find and assess high-quality OER materials.
Speaker: John Liebhardt, Acquisition and Resource Management Librarian, AUS Library.
