Speaking at the ceremony, AUS Acting Chancellor Dr. Thomas Hochstettler congratulated the students for their efforts and thanked the Office of Student Affairs for supporting individual students and student activities. "AUS is about so much more than sitting in the classroom. It's a live experience and I hope that as you go into the world after your days at AUS, you will always remember times like this and the time you spent together as colleagues and friends under the great umbrella of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of AUS."
Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, also thanked the students and staff for their efforts. Keep going, never give up and give us occasions to celebrate and appreciate your success."
