Nine active students awarded scholarships at AUS
American University of Sharjah (AUS) honored nine outstanding students who earned the Active Student Scholarship awards at a special ceremony held on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
The purpose of the Active Student Scholarships is to award undergraduate students who display excellence in extracurricular activities including community service projects, clubs and the Student Leadership Program.
The recipients of the Active Student Scholarship awards are as follows:

Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Dean of Students at AUS, said, "These scholarships are a gesture of the university's support and acknowledgement of student achievements in the extracurricular field. Through these scholarships, we hope to inspire students to become high achievers and to be role models among their peers. We aim to support highly skilled, financially challenged students to pursue their education at AUS."
Dr. Al Shehhi, along with other AUS senior officials, was present during the ceremony and congratulated the students on their achievements.
