Dr. Hasan Al-Nashash
Professor and Director of the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program
PhD in Electronic Engineering, Kent University, UK
Hasan Al-Nashash is a professor, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program and former Chair of Electrical Engineering. He publishes in Neuroengineering, Signal processing and Microelectronics. He is the author of journal and conference papers, book chapters and US patents. He was pivotal in establishing the bioengineering research and graduate programs at AUS. He organized biomedical and electrical engineering conferences. He was the former MEA representative on the EMBS Admin Committee. He received a number of awards and was the keynote speaker at several conferences. He worked with the National University of Singapore, Johns Hopkins University, Rashid Hospital, the American Hospital in Dubai and Khlifa Hospital in Ajman.
