Training: Communication Skills (October 2013)
Student Center Bldg., 1st floor Meeting Room No. A221A
October 3, 2013
10:00 - 11:00
Free
This training session will teach students how to use nonverbal communication to reinforce their message, put others at ease, avoid mixed messages and achieve a positive outcome, even in conversations with reluctant people. Participants can gain dexterity and grace in dealing with new or trying situations; recognize how they come across to others; learn to speak honestly and confidently; become conscious of body language; master their emotions; give and receive criticism constructively; present themselves as powerful - not intimidating; and say what they need to say without offending or creating conflict.
