Speaker: Nicolas Newhouse

A graduate of McGill University (Montreal) in Management and of Carleton University (Ottawa) in International Affairs, Nicolas Newhouse began his career in the private sector, as a Business Systems Analyst in the financial sector in Melbourne and Toronto. He then joined Foreign Affairs Canada, with assignments in the United Kingdom, South Africa and a posting as Canadian Consul in Lebanon. He has been working for the United Nations since 2012, principally in Lebanon and Ethiopia, with a focus on economic and social development as well as peace and security issues.
