Join us for the COP28 Ramadan Talks where the Office of Student Affairs, in collaboration with student leaders, will facilitate discussions on the significance of the upcoming COP28 event.
This is an opportunity to share insights and explore ways in which we can collaboratively contribute to addressing and mitigating climate change. Our discussions will focus on working with various sectors of society to achieve our collective goals.
We invite you to join us for this engaging and informative discussion.

- 5:30 p.m.: Welcome Remarks and Introduction
- 5:35 p.m.: Dr. Fatin Samara talks about the importance of linking local environmental research to climate change and how young people can contribute
- 6:00 p.m.: Student-led discussion by the COP28 student group on Engage
- 6:30 p.m.: Climate Action Lingo Trivia with giveaway prizes
- 6:35 p.m.: Final Remarks
- 6:40 p.m.: Iftar dinner for attendees
