Second Industrial Engineering Department Future Symposium Series - Towards UAE Net Zero: Ambitions and Opportunities (October 2023)
The Department of Industrial Engineering at AUS is organizing its Second Industrial Engineering Future Symposium Series (IEFSS) on October 9, 2023. The theme is "Towards UAE Net Zero: Ambitions and Opportunities.”
The INE Future Symposium Series focuses on disseminating and exchanging knowledge and research results related to the application of emerging technologies in operations and services systems. The Future Symposium Series will facilitate a range of discussions and presentations from esteemed scholars and experienced professionals. It will comprise technical and scientific presentations. The second IEFSS on Sustainability aims to foster discussions on current sustainability challenges in the way to the COP28 to be hosted by the UAE. Global concerns include the net-zero journey for corporates, the global decarbonization initiatives, and the emerging regulations landscape around sustainability to ensure compliance and leverage opportunities.
