Join us for a lecture by Kathryn Best: author, educator and creative strategist!
Kathryn Best is an author, speaker and educator in creativity, design and innovation. Her best-selling books are in 13 languages and include Design Management: Managing Design Strategy, Process and Implementation, The Fundamentals of Design Management and What Can Design Bring to Strategy? Designing Thinking as a Tool for Innovation and Change. Her professional background is in architecture, experience design and brand consultancy, having previously worked with companies such as Loral, Orange, Starbucks, Wolff Olins,RTKL ,WATG and HOK. She is an experienced speaker, teacher and advisor for higher education institutions, cultural and design festivals, and corporate and governmental initiatives worldwide. Her applied research focuses on systemic change by design and foresight and development for creative, cultural and community enterprise. In 2014, she was awarded the Freedom of the City of London which, among other ancient privileges, allows her to drive sheep across London Bridge once a year for free.
