Soiree Musicale! (May 2024)
For two nights only, our AUS Music Ensembles will come together to perform an unforgettable evening of music that will have something for everyone to enjoy! Come hear the AUS Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Damon Dandridge sing highlights from Hamilton, musically transport you to the ancient houses of Japan, provide solace in overcoming life's obstacles, and groove to the Afro Beats of Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe. Watch Prof. Natalia Tykhonova's applied piano students tickle the ivories with the tunes from Queen's We Are the Champions to Bach's Prelude in C Major, and the applied voice students of Dr. Feryal Qudourah, sing and act their hearts out to the songs of Broadway, Bollywood, and Jazz. Enjoy the innocent voices of AUS Children's Choir under the direction of Dr. Qudourah, as they tell a prolific message to all through song. Last but not least, enjoy a special appearance from our very own AUS OSA Choreographers!
